Please help me
I would suggest putting all your effort into contacting your probation officer and telling him what you've told us. I hope you can find someone in your town who can foster your dogs for a few days if need be. I am keeping you and your dogs in my prayers.
I think Bims advice is good. If you called them & couldn't get through or got fobbed off, call your parole office again.
I'm not sure if there are parolee organisations that can help you sort this out or not.
I'm sorry that all this comes at a time you feel least able to cope but unfortunately in these situations most you have to advocate for yourself and get things sorted out, no matter how ill or incapable you feel, because if you don't do anything for yourself the chances are noone else will.

Ok, first breathe
Second, don’t worry about what hasn’t happened yet. I agree with Dee, call your probation officer and explain you are having panic and agrophobia issues and couldn’t make it.
From my point of view, you are dwelling too much on the ex husband. I’ve been there, it is a panic feeling and a black hole you may feel in your chest. You CAN and WILL live without him. Right things are just extremely tough but they are fixable I promise. You just have to stay in the moment. Right now can you watch a comforting movie? Can you do laundry or clean floors? Clean windows or the bathroom. Do something very mundane right now to keep your mind somewhat distracted from your worries. It will all work out if you don’t drink, I promise.

Many years ago when I got my DUI, I was sentenced to probation and found my probation officer to be kind and helpful. There was one time I was unable to make my scheduled appointment, so I called her and explained what was up. It was really no big deal and she just rescheduled the appointment. Chances are, yours would do the same, but you must contact them. Never just don't show up. That rarely ever works out well.
Thank you all. I tried to drink to calm down this morning after this happened. I just got sick.
I have no alcohol nor do I want any.
Before this morning I had two weeks alcohol free and 5 days off benzos.
I read here everyday.
i have been hyperventilating since childhood so I know I have problems.
Im wrapped up in a blanket right now like a scared child.
Thank you for the comfort mariposa.
I will try again in the morning to get things sorted if I make it through the night.

I know you're scared, Shift, but taking action by contacting your parole officer, will help alleviate your fear. Keep calling until you reach him or until someone there gives you assistance and advice.

Misdemeanors do not carry jail time.
You will be fined the price of the toilet paper and have to pay court costs.
They will make payment arrangements with you if you can not pay.
And your dogs should be alright for the amount of time you are in court.

They told me there was a warrant out for my arrest for missing probabation on Aug. 3rd when I tried desperately to get hold of someone to explain I could not drive and had no funds at that time.
I was taking steps to get well with doctors, debt consolidators, SR, and trauma recovery organization.
Im just breaking down.
My hair is literally falling out

Shift - I'm in the UK but I do know a little about US Law, due to having two friends in the prison system over there and working on their cases with them.
I very much doubt they're going to jail you at a time when prisons are overflowing, for a loo roll or missing a meeting.
I also, have animal welfare contacts all over the place so if you let me know which State you are in, I'll try and help with that too.
It's just gone 8.30am here and I'm home all day, so if you want to stay in touch please do, I'll leave SR open.
Stay calm

Hi zanna, thank you for your help.
Im in Florida. perhaps when the swelling goes down in my eyes from sobbing I will figure out how to change my settings to allow pm's.
Right now I can barely type but this is the only lifeline I have.
Thank you

Hey deep breaths It's totally understandable to think the worst - it's human nature, we all do it
Let me have a look around regarding the dogs - I'll put the word out so we can try and find them somewhere IF it comes to that, which I doubt that it will
There are also forums on a website called 'PrisonTalk' which I'm sure the people there will be able to reassure you too x

Thank you so much.
I have read Elizabeth Vargas' book, a US news anchor here, about how she would die for her children but couldnt stop drinking.
I love my dogs. I was doing the best I could and now I face more degrading humiliation for a mistake. Because Im on medication and probably scatter brained.
Thank you for the understanding and support

Hi shift. Go to your user control panel. On my phone it’s in the upper left corner of the screen. Click on options and about halfway down the page you can enable pm’s. Hope that helps.Keep breathing!
