Mariners support recovery day at ballpark
It’s encouraging to see addiction and recovery get this level of attention. We are not alone. Not sure how to make this link easier to click on.

Ironically, I struggled with returning to the ballpark to watch baseball early in my recovery. For me, ballgames at the park and heavy drinking went hand in hand.
It took a few visits for me to understand that I didn’t need beer to enjoy baseball. On the plus side, I no longer needed to check the scores the following day to remind myself who won the game.
