The timing seems apropos (for those of us in the US, at any rate!) to take a moment to thank all of you so much for standing with me in my struggles. I have fresh hope today, and much of that is thanks to your insights and comments and suggestions. So - thank you, SR community, as a whole. I really do feel like I will be able to say I've got one year sober this time next fall, and you folks have assisted greatly in the beginning of my recovery.

I am not in the US but the timing still feels appropriate.....at long last I feel that I am on the right track....the good track. I am just back from a work trip which I could never have done with out the support of SR. That is a fact!!!!

I hope that in one year from now we will all celebrate a year of recovery and you are sooo very right.....to me it is family......SR thank you!!!! Togetherness is our strength......Luvs Ama

Excellent thought and I must chime in on it. There were so many Thanksgivings
in the past where I was so far from sober let alone clean. Drinking was how my family did the holidays. Today is my 3rd sober Thanksgiving and I am truly thankful for all of the people who have entered my life in the past 26 months. I could not have gotten here by myself.
