The Alcoholics in the Park
Great thread.
On the way home from town, I often see a lady alkie sat in a doorway near the bus stop I wait at. I think she is about my age. Usually drinking strong cider or perry. Very thin and looks unwell.
I always thank God, there but for the grace of God go me. Touches a place of empathy and pain in me.
Where I live it is very unusual to see people drinking in the street. She stands out, especially to me.
