A cheeky request

So i recently had a cortisone shot in my shoulder that was to relieve the pain from a torn bicep tendon which is getting surgery at the end of the year but my Dr also texted to say my MRI results are back (lower segments of my spine) and I find out exactly how bad the nerve is tomorrow. (they can't say over the phone because their receptionists)

I don't want this to be permanent so could use all the prayers positive thoughts and good energy aimed towards my damaged thigh nerve

Fingers crossed everything will be ok

Very strong wishes for best results- and repair for everything. I've been thru and am going thru a pretty similar situation with my back.

I have to listen to my drs (wtf?!) and do what I am told. Take care.

Aww, SW. May the doctors' hands be guided to help you heal.

Hang on, my friend. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Thinking of you! I really hope you will heal as soon as possible.

I have a torn tendons in my infasprinatus in both arms and the pain has been agonizing for years. I've been advised only to do physio, but I'm pretty sure the pain (which has caused me many sleepless nights for years) is enough to justify surgery! My career as an illustrator is massively impacted by the issue.

Hang in there, SW.
On your side, brother.
Got five screws, a plate and bolt in my ankle.
Not to mention, that leg is 1" shorter now.
Sciatica city.
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends.

Soberwolf,

I am thinking of you today and wishing postive results.

If anyone deserves a break its you with all the good you do. If only the world worked that way.

You will make it through, but hoping the path is clear.

I had never heard this before, and like it If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it

Just got home unfortunately it's bad news as the MRI on my back came back fine which I expected as I know it's the thigh anywho had to go over exactly what I think caused it and he then performed another reflex test where there was no reflex at all on my right knee like 0 reaction he done this quite a few times but started to understand I might be right and has now been able to finally get me off cocpdomol and on a nerve pain medicine which will help a lot more with less side effects (happy about this) then in 10 days I have to go bk to the surgery pick up some paperwork and make an apt for the neurologist who will do some super in depth MRI thing on my thigh where specialist nurses are trained to spot these things he also mentioned they might want to do a study !?!? and we take it from there

I asked can it be fixed surgery etc and because of how long I've had this (10+years) he wasn't optimistic even when I asked him to be and I guess this is going to get worse as I get older like it has in these last 10 years

Not expecting not thinking about it just what is I guess : (
