Checking In

Just wanted to post really quick before Ieave for PHP this morning. I found out that a student I have had for the last two years is missing. My emotions are still incredibly raw since my fiancee left me.

I'm so happy I went inpatient and am continuing to do the PHP and IOP. I think I really need it and it has helped me so much already. I have also made some new friends who are very supportive. Anyways, I have 11 days sober today. I can't even remember the last time I hit 11 days...it was probably a year and a half ago after I experienced withdrawal for the first time.

I'm happy for you ...11 days is bigger to me than 1 year because it is SO HARD in the beginning...I hope they find your student..someone missing is never good.

Great job Strength!

You should be sleeping deeper and better soon if you aren't already. That's one of my favorite things about early sobriety

I’m tackling a devastating breakup and sobriety at the same time as well. I’m on day 20 I think. I’m doing it with AA and the realization that I am at the end of the line with drinking. Congrats on 11 days and I hope you get all of you can out of PHP. Keep it up.
