Another drinking dream
A lot of stress in my life at the moment but managing to have a few smiles and laughs.
Been plastering my hall and stairs ready for estate agents photographers.
My daughter came in and said I’d put brown smooth all over the walls
So.. I was in a pub in my dream and drinking with a friend, saying how good that beer was and recommending it to him.
I didn’t have the same anxiety as I usually do in these sort of dreams.
I looked at my drink and it was a pint of water
I had my first soft drink dream and I was at peace with it.
Happy Friday everyone

Ha! Love this "first soft drink dream"
I had a few terrifying and quite memorable ones in early sobriety. Will spare y'all the description except one stunned me awake and I went to the living/kitchen are certain I'd find the wreckage of a night of drinking.
I'm almost 3.5 yr sober and prob about 6 mo ago I had a spate of drinking dreams- like you said, a LOT was going on (ha, that's pretty much my life per usual) and I was definitely processing stuff. Scared me some. I shared in meetings and stopped to think them thru - ie they were just dreams, I knew what to do IRL and so on.
We get it. The funny and happy and weird dreams (usually entertwined!) are great too
