Is it Sunday yet, where you are, Sweeti? You said several days ago that you intended going to a meeting on Sunday, is that still your plan?

I'm glad you checked in sweeti. Hope you choose to go to that meeting and get rolling on a plan to quit for good

The migraine I had last night is back again. I won’t be able to make the meeting. I am disappointed but are supposed to be resting anyway. Seeing the doctor appointment again tomorrow.

I hope you're feeling better, Sweeti. Please be honest with your doctor about everything. Don't hold back.

When's the next meeting you can get to?

If you're going to AA, do you have a copy of the Big Book? You can also read it online. That helped me a lot when I couldn't get to a meeting.

How are you feeling today? Just take things a day at a time.

Sweeti have you heard of Joe & Charlie? Look em up on YouTube and give a listen. It’s Big Book study and they’re highly entertaining to boot.

I hope you feel better, aren’t drinking, quit the Valium by now, that you’re honest with your doctor and that the visit goes well. Oh, and maybe go to a meeting finally. I think that covers it .

Day 6 today. Almost a week. Yesterday I slept most of the day. I have 2 copies of the big book. Joe and Charlie Ihave on CD. My appointment isn’t for another 6 hours. So far no migraine. Feeling more energetic today. Hoping to do a meeting Wednesday at my home group. I never finished Joe and Charlie so that’s a great idea. Hope you all have a great day or evening. Thanks for the support.

so within a 25 or so mile radius of your home, there are only TWO AA meetings a week? evidently Sundays and Wednesdays? no other meetings AT ALL that you could commit to go to?

what CAN you do differently to PROTECT your sobriety?
what WILL you do differently to PROTECT your sobriety?
actions actions actions. can't say that it enough.
no one can make you go to the pub. or the liquor store.
only you can make you do that. or NOT.
i don't think the risks could get much higher. drinking again might put you in a coma, or the hospital or dead on the floor. that's about as severe as it gets.
are you now willing to go to ANY lengths?
