It was my day 4 today and what a day. My mam called me at 10 in the morning, she'd had to call a ambulance for my dad, i drove straight there, my dad had a seizure, i was so scared, i thought i was going to lose him, we spent day in hospital, luckily he is ok now.
Thank God i was sober and able to be there, mentally and physically !! another reminder that I'm going down the right path now and must not waste another second

I drink at home in the evenings and that is my biggest fear: Someone needs me in an emergency but I am too inebriated to help.

Thanks everyone, been to see my dad today and he is doing well. Can't believe how selfish i was when i was drinking i never gave anyone a second thought. Certainy has gave me (another) wake up call
