Day 7
Just want to keep it going. I’m working on being more of service to others. I committed tonight to bringing food to next week’s Friday meeting. I’m trying to work on not being so selfish and self centered like I was before. To help others out more and be of service.
Good for you!
Tip: I make this really simple bean dip that everyone always loves and it's only 4 ingredients!!
Here's how you layer it:
First: Old El Paso Refried Beans - like 2 cans
Second: Sour Cream
Third: Old El Paso Taco Sauce
Fourth: Shredded Cheddar
Put in 450 degree oven for about 12-15 mins until it's bubbling. Bring that with some Tostito Scoops and you're good to go!

Thank you for the food recipe! Day 7 going well. One week was important for me to get to because the rehab place I was talking to said to see if I could stay sober for one week if I thought I didn’t need rehab.
Going now to a meeting at 6. Got in a good run earlier.

Thats awesome Freedom!
I am a runner and although I haven't gone on one since I got sober (was feeling kind of tired and sick), I cannot wait to workout tomorrow! I found this app called Six pack in 30 days that I will do along with Street Parking (a cross fit style instagram program) and my runs.
Keep it going! Day four for me tomorrow!

Yes! Self centered thinking does nothing but promote more self centered thinking. Probably the foundation of that circular thinking that addicts tend to indulge in. Me me and more me. Breaking that cycle is so important. Helping others or just being of service is the foundation of mindfulness.
