Day 5

Plan today is to get some exercise in, get some work done and then go to a meeting. What is good right now is that I am able to get things done that I otherwise would have put off because I was drunk, blacked out or hung over.

I feel you. Amazing the stuff we put on the back burner . due to getting boozed or hungover. Sure we had good intentions. To do our things but the bottle was calling us. .......keep coming back

It took 2 weeks for me to get my house back in order after sobering up 24 days ago....So much to do....I could only do a little at a time...but as you said DRUNK I was not doing a THING!

Congratulations on getting thru the rough days...I think it will get even better from here for you.

Day 5 going well so far. Did some cardio and now headed to a 5:30 AA meeting. It’s been so refreshing these past days to not be a slave to alcohol and its consequences.

Just got back from my meeting. It went well. I was able to get a phone number of someone to call if I get an urge. Looking forward to Day 6 and then a week sober.
