So happy about being 2 weeks sober
I usually start craving around the 2 week mark....Not today....
Today I was enjoying life...even enjoyed food shopping laughing with my Father.....causing trouble in the store....lol.....
And then the "iced coffee" was a treat....the smell of the candles I lit when I got home made me smile.
The Watermelon I just ate was delicious.
No hangovers, no remorse, no guilt, no disgusting house because I can't clean...no dirty clothes or sheets around, clean floors, good food, my eyes are open and the fog has lifted and I feel really good that I am craving alcohol!

Congratulations on two weeks, Missy! It is wonderful to be able to enjoy simple delights, to be truly present, and to wake up sober and without a hangover! Wishing you continued success in your sobriety, and thank you for a positive, uplifting post.
Awesome!
I love the description of laughing in the grocery store. When we start to heal, we are able to have so much fun. It’s one of the things we don’t talk about enough - those moments - and they add up. Keep going, it gets even better!
