I am so happy to say I have been alcohol free for 30 days!! The biggest reward is not having to feel disgusted and ashamed when I wake up. I am grateful that my body feels so much better. My blood pressure is down. My peak heart rate is down to 150 instead of over 170. It is easier to exercise now. I am so thankful that I remember my nights instead of it being a mystery. No more fear or piecing together what happened the night before. I have saved over 300$!!. I would get anxious at night and drink but it’s funny it was actually making it worse. I rewarded myself by getting my nails done. My life is brand new and I am so very grateful.

Thank you so much my people for the kind words. That is want this community is to me, my people. SR has helped so much. I don’t think I would have made it this far without the people here. When I’m in an A.A. meeting it is safe. At home when I’m tempted I come here. Especially late at night when everyone is asleep. Reading others posts has calmed me when I need it most. I’m still fighting minute by minute most nights. I am praying for another sober day today. I love all of you my fellow warriors in this battle
