Thats What I'm talking about. Yes we got your back. But we are keeping it real with the feedback you are receiving . call it putting a fire under your behind. Wake you up.lol. but no real talk. One day at a time. Thats it.
When I was drinking I always felt hopeless and like I deserved bad things. After I'd been sober a few months, that depression got a lot better. And since I wasn't drinking, my antiD's worked like they should and kept the depression at bay.
I hope you won't drink.
I hope you won't drink.
Not to be a naggy broken record....but have you been trying to do anything besides not drink?
As Dee said above, you have to build a sober life instead of just waiting for it to happen. It's not gonna be all sun and roses all the time but you really truly don't have to be miserable. Sometimes just doing something to work towards helping yourself can feel better than just sitting in the stink.

I'm glad you didn't drink either, TWTOM. Two months really is a brilliant accomplishment, and whenever I'd drink after a bit of sustained sobriety the guilt and self-hatred wasn't worth the brief feelings of relaxation-- it also helps that the last time I drank was so awful, life-threatening and shocking that it inspired even someone as far down the hole as I to never drink again. I hope you can sort out a happy, meaningful sobriety; for me, life isn't perfect, but it's a far cry better than it was.
