Wow thank you so much everyone. Some really positive words there and I appreciatw them all. Day 4 almost complete. The first few nights have been tough but it's already getting a bit easier on me physically. I feel a bit short with people and need to keep my mood in check. So far so good. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

In 4 hours I've been sober a whole week :-)
I even ran a half marathon yesterday just to push myself. I feel great right now. My sleep is still a complete mess but everything else is going well for me. I hope everyone is having a good week.

I ran one, half marathon, and dozens of 5k's. Never sober though. I'm sure it feels better sober. I'll be doing another 5k shortly. sober. Awesome on a week sober. Keep it going, time flies.

"Life feels different and my relationship with my friends feels different. What I want from life now feels different. I feel humbled and my insane drive is dampened. "
This is exactly how I felt the day I stopped drinking 21 months ago. I haven't looked back.
