July 2, 2018 I awoke with "the hangover from hell." I had been on a 4 day binge, and I felt so bad I thought I was going to die. I have not had alcohol since. The AV has talked to me several times, telling me a cold beer would sure taste good. But going back to where I was is not something I want to do. For newcomers, keep trying. I relapsed many times. I walk each day, and I don't hang around those that drink. I have a journal, and a sober calendar. It does get better. One day at a time at first. Thank you SR! And thanks Dee for the words of support. I might not post much, but I login and read. Best wishes to all of you that are struggling. You can do it. Don't give up trying. On to year two!
