New Here

Hey guys.

Newly sober here. The fourth will be a month clean. I’ve gone allotted times of not drinking before but this time feels different. Like, I was ready to commit to it and stick with it.

I’m tired of the hang over mornings, foggy mind, anxiety, and just overall ****** feelings that came with drinking.

It’s nice to meet everyone and I really hope this can be a safe place for me to vent and share my journey.

Congrats on a month sober and welcome to SR. You’ll find a lot of support, great advice and sober wise owls here, I couldn’t have gotten to where I am without SR. xx

Hey Nic

To avoid confusion, we don't usually allow identical threads in different forums,

I merged your two threads here.
I'm confident you'll get the same level of support from one thread :)

Fee free to also check out our Class of July support thread. Its for everyone quitting this month - all you need to do to join is post in it :)

Glad you are here and a month is awesome!

Hope you use SR regularly- I am really grateful that I learned about the Class of threads- for the month you quit- and my Feb 2016 group has continued to be special and important in my journey.

What have you been doing IRL to get this far? A plan of action is definitely something we have found essential and lots of us can share about our different ways of getting and living in real recovery.
