Posted for help SR, read my Bible, wrote in my journal, prayed, going to a meeting in 3 hours. Just trying to keep myself calm and distracted until then.

Good morning. I’m up and starting out with a cup of coffee. I have kids to corral all day today which means lots of little trips around time to keep us all occupied and entertained.

Living in gratitude for the first world sober problems in our family right now. Specifically, I'm caring for my step daughter after her wisdom teeth come out. It's one of the smaller pieces of our family problems right now - for today, my husband and his ex wife are working on options for my stepson to move out within 30 days (her house) bc of his final job loss and discovering he has been smoking pot for months now. Those include going into the Navy, and living in a place here that has a Young Adult program for recovery, life skills, counseling- truly everything he needs. I am grateful that they are doing a good job co-parenting right now, that both of us have strong AA programs and good sponsors, and are a team that can take each step of this process as it comes.

I'll have more things to be grateful for tomorrow!

Glass of water, maybe breakfast, yardwork/ housework, lunch, dinner, bed. Just another day. My little punkin is off with her aunt for some swimming so maybe some errands.

Woke up, thought of three things I’m grateful for today. Mapped out my day in my head and how I’ll manage my thoughts, feelings and any cravings that arise. Meditation for 15 minutes, now tea and nutritious brekkie before work.

What I do every day. I do not drink. It really is that simple. It may not always be fun or exciting or wow, but it is simple.
