New - Day 1

Posting from the UK. Decided to have a go and not make any more excuses or delay the inevitable recognition that I'm stuck in drinking patterns. My body needs a rest and my mind needs some space and freedom from the traps, the battling inside and numbing.

Today I am not having a drink.
Already worrying about the cues and triggers when my partner comes home tomorrow as he also drinks.
Anyway, just for today and for me.
It's 3.30pm, I can do this.

You can do this. Life is so much better without the extra problems that come with drinking.
