Meet Reese (like the peanut butter cup)
My 12 year old daughter picked him out and named him. The difference in behavior between Snickers and Reese is amazing. Now that I have watched him, it's clear that Snickers was sick before we even got him. Snickers was skin and bone. You could literally feel his ribs and spine. I thought that was normal because he was a baby, but Reese is a healthy weight. It's pretty obvious now. Snickers also just layed still and never moved. He never ate, drank water, etc. I thought he was just scared and needed time to adjust. This little guy, on the other hand, is SO active. In fact, apparantly he wasn't happy with where I put his hay-blend bed so he dragged it halfway across his cage and is now eating it! Everytime my 8 year old son walks over he comes out and stands on his hind legs to see what he's doing. He's very alert and just plain curious.
