Just wanted to check in, 274 days to be exact. It’s been a long battle for me, and I’m lucky I got out alive. Everyday isn’t easy, but my life is so much better and freeing. The sense of freedom lately has been huge, I’m no longer tied down by alcohol and all the planning behind it. It’s kinda amazing to be in a good place where I can actually keep changing my life. It’s a powerful feeling, when I’ve been so out of control my whole life. I’m continuing to plug away with SR, AA, recovery podcasts, and living in daily gratitude. I just began counseling as well, I figure that anything I can do to add to my recovery toolkit, I will. I never ever want to go back to where I was, and I will continue to fight for the sober life I deserve, that all of us deserve.

It sounds like you have all the pieces and tools in place. That's excellent and good for you for working so hard on your sobriety. You can't go wrong, sounds like.
