morning all. Happy Sunday. waking up hangover-free never gets old.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time with your Dad Kaily - are you able to detach from him a bit? he's an adult & it's up to him to deal with the consequences of how he chooses to live his life - it's not your job.

I'm glad you found your purse Manta. You inspired me to make a big batch of cauliflower, potato & spinach curry for the freezer.

have a serene day all.

Yeah Kaily, you have no responsibility to "care" for him, especially since it sounds like he has the means to care for himself.

I'm sorry you're dealing with his misery and barbs. Been there.

The construction drags on, Mags. Seven months and counting. I think about one month more.

Thanks Andy, Bim and Vman.
I took the day off from him and been on a nice long country walk. Needed it for my sanity! Under normal circumstances I only see him a few times a year.

Bim is the cute builder still about? Trying to find a positive out of a negative.

I think he's here somewhere, Kaily. I see his truck parked outside. At this point I want him to leave and take his friends with him.

Sorry to read of your situation with your Dad Kaily. That's tough. It's good your getting away for awhile. You must put your own needs first and look after yourself. That's the only way to maintain the engery you need for this situaton.

I suppose it is not right outside my flat but closing off Old Street roundabout which is what has happened means that It is almost impossible to travel anywhere by car.

Decent Sunday. My mood has been all over the place lately and I need to chill out. Otherwise fine tho. Had dinner with my dad and it wasn’t that awkward (haven’t spoken to him much the past year).

Kaily, thoughts are with you and your dad. Make sure you take time for yourself, which sounds like you did today.

Another sober day in the books. Night all.

Morning all,

Another weekend in the bag!

Happy week of work Sao and Andy. Sao maybe you can help out on the roundabout for a week, get London moving and release that little turquoise car that appears stuck in the middle of it all ... unless that is you??

Thank you for the kind words STDragon and Dpac. Gonna take a few steps back.

Happy Monday

Morning everyone,
Monday and i'm off work for the week, headed to a place called Dartmoor in a few minutes.

They are making "improvements" supposedly bim though they cannot be very significant as the ampunt of space available will still be the same as before. I think the turquoise car will find it a lot harder to get back in.

Mags, this part of London is in the ULEZ or ultra low emissions zone - more a thing of show than any real value (below is a screenshot of one of the signs)

Love the gif Kaily, that is absolutely me this morning haha. Had planned on going for a walk when I got up this morning but it’s lashing it down again and looks pretty rotten outside. First day back after a week off, I hope I don’t go back to any problems. They do like to slag people off when they are not there lol.

Anyhow, happy Monday all xx

Manta, I hope work is ok after your week off.

Saou, enjoy Dartmoor, I guess you’ll be taking a lot of walks. That’s an impressive sign ULEZ, not seem that before!

Do you all post from your phones? I actually looked at SR on my phone while on a walk yesterday - first time. I don't love phones in general.

You're taking a lesson from sao on the colloquialisms? I have no clue.

Have a safe and sober week everyone. ~Blessings.

MidnightBlue, thinking of you and hoping your heart is healing quickly.
