Wrapping up day 10
Well, I'm finishing day 10 and feeling good. I don't really have any issues with cravings and not drinking has not been an issue now that I've broken the ugly start-drinking-in-the-morning cycle.
I've never been a social drinker, so social events and weekends don't bother me.
Thanks again for helping me get here!

I'm feel the same way except although I dont do alot of social things I always drank before during and after any event social. I had to not golf yesterday because I would have brought 3 beers with me. But yea, that drinking in the morning thing. I would have been 2 hrs in by now. Probable close to a half pint in. F that!!! Good for you nadt. I hope things work out well for you.

Hey, Strength! Things are going well for me. I'm back on a regular schedule and routine after several days of nasty withdrawals. Today is day 13, and I'm feeling really good!
I'm thankful because I don't have any cravings and my energy is back for the most part.
I have to be on top of things mentally for my job, so it's important that I'm feeling good.
Thank you for asking. How are things going for you?

Glad to hear you are all feeling better. Lets not get to confident. All three of us are still years out from truly being "done". I see lots of slip ups here within the two year time frame. day 9 for me. Big woop. Just barely beginning to get started. In fact there is a thread right on this page(currently) about some one screwing it all up after 2 years.

I agree, A. I think the three of us have been pretty fortunate in our early recovery to not have horrible cravings like some people endure, but that could easily change in a day or an afternoon so you're right we should not feel too confident.
I think that everyone can feel good about their accomplishments, but stay focused on remaining sober. I'm glad that we have the group to encourage and support one another.

Indeed. I do get some cravings but they are just fleeting thoughts mostly. Thankfully. I still like to look forward to the time I can drink a beer even though I know I should not. That will pass in time I'm sure. Nice work with 2 weeks. Keep it up. I'm on day 9 but whos counting, LOL
