Best decision I've ever made.

10 weeks today. Deciding to be teetotal is hands down the best decision I've ever made. I feel so much better in myself. Also, had some good news - been waiting to hear back from my new job regarding my DBS check and a lady rang today to let me know it's all gone through and that they will be in touch about a start date

Great stuff!

Getting sober was by far the best decision I ever made, too. Sometimes I can't believe how much better my life is since I quit. Nothing HUGE has changed, I just feel so much better about everything, and I'm making progress on some of my long-term goals.

Amazing and well done! Keep going and great work on the new job on top of your sobriety. Life's not perfect as we get sober but more good things can happen for sure.

That title sentence has become my mantra whenever the topic of drinking or sobriety comes up. It truly is, not even close. More than 2 years and counting for me, and life seems to keep getting better. Anything seems possible, except for drinking!

Great work GJ,
Best thing I ever did too.
My life on paper at the moment stinks but I feel just fine.
I owe it all to staying sober and working on my recovery. I’ve learned so much, things I didn’t think possible or even existed.

Happy for you
