My sister died this morning at 56.

Just a reminder that it can happen at any time. Addiction will kill you.

No sorry's. I'm OK. She knew it and didn't get help.

I know you don't want any sorrys but I am sorry. Desperately sorry. Sorry for you and your family and sorry for your sister. Sorry that addiction has claimed another young life. Thank you for posting and reminding us that this battle is real. Lives are lost every day. Addiction doesn't care. But we do. I'm sending you lots of love and strength.

I can understand how you feel, My brother is an active addict, and I wait for a call that he has been arrested, hospitalized, or died. While I do not have a relationship with him at this point I am sorry that he’s continued to live his life this way, and miss out on the many wonderful things life has to offer.

I am sorry your sister lost her battle with addiction, and I am sending lots of love for you and your family as you say your goodbyes, I hope she’s at peace.

❤️Delilah

Ugh. My condolences. Even if it’s not a big surprise, it still hurts.

My brother too, 54. Drank himself into a deep depression then took a bunch of pills one night when something didn’t go his way. My mom, 43, cocaine.

I know you say no sorries, but I am truly sorry for the senseless loss of life that addiction brings.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

I'm very sorry to hear that your sister died of this disease. To us addicts, our very lives DO depend on our abstaining from alcohol, pills, whatever substance we're using.

My prayers to all who loved her,

Bobbi
