I am back...
I had about 55 days sober starting Jan 1, I got weak one evening and I have been drinking everyday sine. I am just now at the 24 hr mark and I feel so proud of myself. 24 hrs feels like 24 months, ha-ha....I wish.
I am glad to be back here. I have missed you all. I need to find a new group....Is there a May 2019 started? Thank you all for being here.

Welcome back travelbug!! Took me a few sober periods them crashes, before I “got it”. Now when I get a craving I play it out in my head...all the pain and anxiety that will certainly be the next few days if I choose to take that first drink. The hard part is over and every day it will get easier.

Welcome back. Some don't make it,
I had seven months once and relapsed, so I know how you feel.
All we can do is pull ourselves up by the boot straps and start anew.
Good job on a day. That's how I take it, one day at a time. It's been working now for over ten years.
You can do it, too.

I too relapsed, My Day 1 sober date is now May 1st 2019. I'm back on here daily, I'm back in my August Class as I've bonded so closely with the group and see the people in there as my friends now, I'd be lost without them all, so I'm there daily but I also read and post on some new threads too.
Stay with us and wishing you all the best.

Welcome back . Iv'e been away from the group but by Gods grace I have been sober while working through mental health issues and I know how quickly and how easy it is to reach for that bottle so well done for 24 hours .
