I can barely believe it's been a year. I'm alcohol free, smoke free, I've lost 52lbs, I eat healthily, I workout almost everyday and my relationship is better than it has been in quite a while. Hungover, lazy and craving carbs used to be my normal state.

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and when my husband asked me what I wanted to do I chose to pack a picnic and go to the park with the dog. Sometimes, I still don't recognize this person but I love her.

SR is what I incorporated into my recovery this time and it's what has made the difference, everyone here has been an amazing help and really helped me look at what motivates my actions in totally new ways. It hasn't always been easy but it's been worth it.

Thanks everyone, I wish you all the love and happiness you can cram into your lives.
