Day 31

Hi guys, just checking for Day 31... hope everyone is going okies.

Have noticed headaches recently pretty persistently once a day (around booze time). And my temper is a bit shorter lately, I get cranky more easily for sure unfortunately. I guess this will still keep getting better....

I had my partner ask me today "do you still drink alcohol?" (it had been the cause of sooooooooooo many fights in our past relationship a few years ago! And me just not being a great human). He'd last visited over a month ago, and I had had beers in my cupboard then. So he asked "yes but I saw you had beers in your cupboard" and I said they were left over from a little gathering and I'd since gotten rid of them. Explained I realised alcohol made me more stressed, not less stressed, and couldn't see it ever having a place in my life again. And I told him *the truth*!!! It's kind of amazing, I've told people I've quit before, but really I've probably always had it in the back of my mind, if not in my hand.. but it felt so beautiful to say the truth this time.

The support from everyone here is amazing. So massive thank you.:You_Rock_

Good for you on your 31 days....I'm day 27 and definitely a little irritable/short tempered at times, also had the tension headaches, got to keep going though sure it will get better! Also yes its better to be honest especially with those you are close to, then they can support you. x
