Checking in for sober Saturday 😊


Evening all, hope everyone is ok today.
Had the ole chat going on in my head earlier, not just alcohol a few other things, which I won't bore you with.
So again pulled on the trainers and ran it out.
Only managed 5km against the wind (felt like a flipping hurricane lol ) feeling good, feeling settled, and sober.
So definitely in for sober Saturday 🙌
Looking forward to a good night's sleep, had a restless sleep last night, so to push myself out to run has done me the world of good.

Sober Saturday for me too! I am almost a year sober and I am still so very grateful! The weather is awful here and it seems to wait until I have a day off to be crappy. This would have had me running for my fix at this time last year. It is amazing how different things are now!
