Yes - we'll definitely be here to help see you through this. You can get free & have a much better life. No more alcohol induced misery, uncertainty, or pain.

My intention is to taper. I am not sure how that will go. To be clear. I am not black out drunk but I am not sober. As the morning comes up I will probably be alone. I don't want to drink. I am here for contact.

For help.
I joined today for the exact same reason... so as not to be alone. I look forward to getting to know you as we both progress in recovery <3

And, when is the last time you slept?
I hope you're doing all right. I'm concerned about you.

I’ve never been able to successfully taper, but I have been to the ER and they will give you treatment and meds to help you withdraw safely and more comfortably.

Same here. I think that's a good idea if you're still suffering.

Blue,

You can get through this. It's worth a trip to the emergency room. Even though it feels like it, the withdrawal doesn't last forever.
