Hi everyone im sorry for letting you all down my ex husband was found dead last week i have had massive relapse

Oh my gosh, I’m so very sorry for your loss and the shock this must have been for you. You are not letting anyone down, you are back here and that’s all that matters. I was thinking about you the other day and hoping you were ok. Keep posting, we are here for you.

Thank you all im not going to drink anymore, i ned to be sober for myself and my son. I loved my ex so much

I'm so sorry for your loss TB.

I'm going to speak to you as a mate now tho - as tragic and painful as this must be, it would be even more tragic and painful for you to lose yourself over this and be pulled back into the madness of active addiction.

Fight for yourself. You deserve to be sober, even when horrific things happen.

So sorry for your loss. My ex died last July. That sent me into drinking mode again. At first he was all I could think about. It does get much better with time. Now I rarely think about him. My condolences again.

TB that is terrible. I am glad you are back here to be sober through this. I am pulling for you and so sorry for your and your son’s loss. I can’t even imagine what it would be to lose a parent that young but I know he’ll need you more than ever. My deepest condolences.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I feel more clear today and yes it is sad but i must not lose anymore of my own life over him. I want to fight to be sober and well and healthy and have a good life
