4 years free from the grip of liquid destruction!

Today makes the 4 year mark!
My life and my ability to handle life is so much different now.
You really can quit. You really can become a functional human again.
Much love for all on this site.

The phrasing of "liquid destruction" is right on; alcoholism is....

But I'm also impressed that you have the awareness of alcohol's destruction after four years sober! Impressive and awesome.

January I love that image, comforting. In four years how is life better ? I’m struggling with almost 3 weeks and four years seems so impossible but I’m hopeful. Congratulations on four years, that a huge feat

I'm not hungover everyday. Life is such a freaking drudge when hungover. Any responsibility no matter how small felt like a huge undertaking to get done or even started for that matter.

I enjoy so many things now. Alcohol was so powerful that I ended up giving up everything that I enjoyed. I am still refinding these things 4 years later.

People trust that I am going to do what I say.

I could write a book about all the positive ways my life has gotten better.

Quitting was by far the best thing I could have ever done.
