A friend sent me the link to this..And man am I glad she did. It's like reading a book about my life. I was married to an alcoholic for 20 years. I filed for divorce after he wouldn't quit cheating despite him having had us go thru a marriage program. We've been divorced 2 years now. I finally cut contact with him in January. But he recently started texting me as he has begun recovery.
Hi Ah,
Glad you've joined us. Do you have a drinking problem, or are you here for support from others who've lived through an alcoholic relationship? Either way, you'll find support here!
If you're looking for other family members of alcoholics, you will find there is a whole forum devoted to that topic further down on the page.

Hi and welcome Ah48192
if going no contact ha been healthy for you then you have every right to continue to do that and ignore the texts.
I think, in cases like these actions will always speak louder than words - or texts.
