Thanks fearless. I was just practicing how NOT to post images before, but any attention is duly welcome. I am doing ok, the anaesthetic take me a while to get over...but life is getting better. Hope you are travelling well.

PJ, hope all is well with your healing. I too am sending prayers for your healing and that you are getting along ok. ♥

Hope your new art project (I think I read you were starting one) is working out well.

I am very tired- so I am going to go on about this....(just a bit),

-2 surgical procedures
- 7 days in hospital over from Xmas- March
- 12 outpatient appointments
- 2 significant infections
- 5 hand splints custom made- had to wear lots (changes with healing)
- hand used as a 'guided tour' for conferences, students, sales reps
- about 70 stitches (donor and graft sites)

Seen by, assessed by, or just 'gawked at', by 20-25 staff (of which I am very grateful, but tiring)

Now all done. Lots of physio/OT- but no more surgery...universe willing.

Extremely grateful....

Image from this morning. Will not share day 2- post graft surgery as some on another site found it 'offensive'....

Hi PJ!

As a nurse, I would never find any of your photos “offensive”. Those people just do not have to be on your thread in my opinion.

As a fellow SR family member, i’m so grateful that you have been posting your updates and your story. You are very inspiring. And I am so glad to hear that people were visiting and being involved with you without feeling “obligated“

My love to you PJ and wishes for continued speedy recovery and flexibility

You know I love you, PJ - and I'm so glad you found your way to SR. You've triumphed over some horrific things - and you're still growing.

Just saw this. You know how I feel, but I’ll say it anyway- You. Freaking. Rock. You have to be the toughest, gentlest person I know. And a tough sob at that.
Keep getting better, my friend! My really good friend.
