Proud of myself

someone totally stressed me out today, normally I would be straight round the shop buying wine, instead I thought to myself WHY let that person make me turn to drink again, I need to react differently now to these situations, probably in my head it’s their fault I want drink but NO that was probably just an excuse to have a drink

Great going!
It sounds like you know exactly what was happening. That's great self-awareness and that's how I stay sober.
Again, great job on not giving in. You saved yourself some misery and should be proud of yourself.

Great job, I used to come up with excuses to get drunk on a daily basis. I of course used to go to one of the 4 different stores on the way home so i did not appear to have a problem to the shopkeepers.

lol, sooo worried about what they were thinking if they saw me multiple times a week.

Good for you!

I really really try to practice understanding these days. Sometimes its way after the situation but I have to stop myself and think that that person has their own universe they live in and reasons for doing what they do.
