A year in the morninG
Damn if I don’t know where the time went.
so here’s the official stats for a year sober.
potential numbers I say because I spent the money on other stuff.....
$5,457 not spent on whiskey this year
as a bottle a day habit obviously that’s 365 bottles not drank.
down 20 pounds
bought a boat
closer with my kid
thinking clearer / been at the new job about ten months
garage remodel is like 30% done
i found some triggers and ways to deal with them.
i still get pissed off and generally dislike the public and millennials / lazy people.
but I’m happier, healthier I assume.
stomach issues not as bad , but not completely gone.
honestly I can’t believe it’s been a year. It was so slow in the beginning and then bam, it’s a year. Crazy right?
anyway, I figured I’d post up and let y’all know I’m doing good, surviving and I really do tell myself my goal is to make it through each day. Making it from being a complete drunk dumbass really gives you an appreciation for each day and loving your family.
