Well, I Made it 7 Days!

Got through a harrowing 7 days of sobriety that included one Emergency Department trip and two doctors appointments. Now that I think I'm through the rough seas of withdrawal I can focus on my continuing sobriety and trying to get my blood pressure under control. I'm thankful for this opportunity at another shot at being healthy, and I'm thankful for all of you here who have posted and shown me such support and encouragement.

Still going, one more day at a time.

Fantastic. You need never do those 7 days again!

As it's already been said, just focus one day at a time. I am 11 months now and it is true it gets better and better.

That's wonderful - 7 days. I cannot remember last time I had a whole week without alcohol. Tonight will be my first night of 'soberiety' , and I know it will not be easy for next few nights, So I am glad to see other people getting through this and succeeding. Well done.
