3 days sober

Its been 3 days and I am so stoked. I had the worst 2 nights but last night was better. No sweats or chills or high heart rate. The first 2 nights I had major night sweats and had to change my clothes. I have been taking super small amounts of diazepam to help. I have 2 mg but I don't even take more than 1/10th of it. I have taken those small amounts a couple time during the day and before I go to sleep. I am super stoked to have this forum to support me and so I can share my experiences with others.

Congratulations! I can't tell you how many times I didn't even make it to 3 days, it is a magic number. I hope you feel even better as you go along.

3 days is wonderful. You are on your way to a better life. It feels so good to be free of it. Well done, eachday.

At three days sober you should be done with most of the physical withdrawal. Now comes the hard part - making a plan to stay sober.

I hope coming here will be part of your sobriety plan, there's so much support here.

And we're glad to have you here. It's a great place for support. And just by posting your story, you help people like me, ten years sober, remember what it's like out there. So thank you.
As Least says you may want to make a plan to stay sober. We're all here for you, but for me it took more than that. I needed AA myself. But there are other programs of recovery.

Best to you in sobriety.

It's been 7 years for me, but I remember 3 days like it was yesterday. Why? Because I wasn't drunk. Keep up the good work.
