Yes very grateful. Tomorrow is payday which will be my first one since being sober. I can't even afford all my bills. I will keep using the same strategies and playing the tape through. I stop and think now and that has stopped me buying on a whim. I have to go grocery shopping but will go to one not near a bottle shop. So that will keep me busy plus paying bills.

You might consider paying some of your most important bills first, Sweetichick, with a budget left over that does not include alcohol. Going to the store feeling flush with money might give your AV a reason to speak up. If you have it in mind that you are meeting responsibilities first, that may reinforce you to stay far from the other shops. Just a thought.

That is so great! And just think how happy your liver is now that you are into 7 days alcohol free. You got this....day by day. Can you exercise or walk? If so I maybe try that...it may be hard to start but you will feel so much better. Way to go!!

Glad you have plan for payday, I know that's been a trigger for you in the past. Avoiding the bottle shop is a good plan, and paying your important bills first as well. Someone else suggested getting out for a walk, that would be a great idea as well. Being out in nature always helps me clear my head.

Have a great day 8 Sweeti, onward to week two!

I hope you take this opportunity to begin recovery. Making a plan for payday is a good start. I'm glad your results are okay, Sweeti.

Hi Sweeti,
