I'll take another sober weekend

Rockstars, puppies, and coffee....Purps is in heaven!

Happy National Puppy Day! Today on Twitter the Washington Capitals are announcing something called the "Stanley Pup" ~ Has anyone heard of it? It looks like Puppy Bowl with hockey instead of football.....OMG

Springtime In The Rockies!

Yesterday was nice Sun and sporadic warmth. For a while. THEN, the Snow Squalls zipped through. Rain. Small Hail. Blasting Wind. 'Corn' Snow, which is like lil white Cereal Puffs or sumptin'. Then, Sun again. Mid-Day today, it clears to partly Cloudy. We'll take it, cuz it feels like Spring.

MesaMate did her Anti-Aging Regimen yesterday, and spent half the Day at a Hair Salon an Hour away. Came Home all beautious. More College Basketball Playoffs on the Tube today, so she's a happy Jockette. A Couple stops by in a few Hours with their newish Truck Camper that I'm helping them beef up electrically for Off-Grid Camping. After a few quick changes before their Maiden Voyage, they're off to Moab Utah for several Days while meeting up with Camping Siblings. A fun Project helping them that keeps me outta Jail while we upgrade next Month to all-Solar Power on their Camper that I designed for their austere Camping Lifestyle.

I'll dig up a Pup Pic later from the hundreds we have of MesaDog, but go with this recent Sunrise Pic for now.

As I posted last Weekend, I'm way into the Zen Of The Mundane. Overall, I find it mentally liberating. Sotted frenzy was exhausting, and increasingly joy-less.

Greetings all.
Half day at work today; looking forward to getting out of here to tend to home chores and take care of the critters.

The colors on the snake are amazing. I take it being called a “milksnake” has nothing to do with its preferred diet.

Precisely, Captain.
Most snakes, including the milk snake variety, feed on rodents.

The milksnake got its name because people once believed the reptiles sucked milk from cow udders.
Of course, such behaviour is anatomically impossible for the snakes,
which lack lips, and certainly would not be tolerated by cows.

Salutations weekenders.
Mad photos on the weekender today.
Done myself some good gardening and got in loads of sunlight in the process. Planted one of those flat peach trees. A beauty....

Hello friends,

rough couple of days but havent picked up...but checking in here is always a source of nurturing and I want to thank all of you.
This weekend I’m focusing on my readings, meetings and going to do something different. Thinking of spontaneously going to a painting-pottery shop and zen out on some creative energy😊. And a brisk walk now that the temps are slowing warming up; perhaps I’ll be inspired to write some poetry from the sunshine and I will share this with all of you.
Sending much love and support to everyone!

Hi Lena, hang in there.

Zenning out some creative energy sounds good to me. Keeping myself distracted from the idea of drinking was important in the early days (if that’s where you’re at), and it still is.

Evening Vman. I’m hoping all those blossoms will be peaches before too long.

Lunar, I thought the snake was artificial!, what a beauty she is! I held a snake once and was so impressed of the feel of them, they’re beautiful!

Hiya Marley, thanks for the pic Vinny! Tree looks great.

Lena, hope you managed to get to your pottery painting.

Hiya Captain.
