Day 4

Grateful to be hanging in there... physically ok except the diarrhea, Anyone else have that? When does it go back to normal??? Mentally anxious but ok.

Things can be rough in early recovery, physically and mentally. Hang in there. Things will get back to normal, if you can be patient and stay sober.

What are you doing to stay sober?

Congrats on your Day 4 Opie.
I had all sorts of issues the first couple weeks - but everything settled down. Our bodies need time to adjust & heal to the new us.
Maybe check with your dr if you feel you might become dehydrated.

Day 4 is a great start. Should slowly get better each day. Everyone is different. I had some gastro intestinal issues as well. Now everything works like its supposed to. Keep it going.

Opie, good job on Day 4! You should start to feel better soon.

At this point I’m thinking of going back to AA. I went a bunch of times but struggled to find a group I connected with. I’m looking for any ideas 😊

welcome back :)

If you want to go back to AA that sounds like a good idea to me :)
Get involved with people - ask questions- be interested in them and what they say - thats the way to connect :)
