Was considering drinking today
 

Forgot to take my naltrexone this morning to curb cravings. Saw a sign that said "Beer Garden" with an arrow pointing in the direction of it. I also walked past a bar by my job that I hadnt noticed before. I went to a mtg tho. I hate how easy it is to throw my precious sobriety away. So grateful I didn't. I cannsca that I HAVE go to mtgs.

There is nothing in this world so bad
that I, you, we, us have to throw our
sobrieties out the window. To return
back to the misery that come with it.
That rollercoaster ride of ups and downs.
That merry go round where we cant
seem to get off it.

Finding comfort amongst other like
us, alcoholics or addicts in recovery,
sitting in the same room, coming together
with a common problem looking for an
effective solution.


Recognize and avoid people, places or
things that are triggers for you while in
early recovery while building a strong,
recovery foundation to live upon for
yrs. to come.
