St Patricks Weekender Thread 15-18 March 2019
Hi weekenders Sunday morning here, and a bit of rain around this morning which has cooled things down substantially. It’s been so hot and humid lately. I think I might take advantage of the cool overcast morning and go down to the beach for a bit of beachcombing. See you all later
Hi Willow
onomatopoeiac - Had to look that one up.
I went thru a bout of difficult sleep not too long ago. Don't know what brought it on, but it seems that as soon as I accepted it and stopped stressing about it, it passed.

I had to look up onomatopoeiac too
I have snoring issues too. Not my own but definitely have a degree of permanent sleep deprivation as a result. Ugggh
I’m feeling rather lazy today. Might have an afternoon nap today for some catch up sleep

Hi Weekenders, all quiet here
I wonder who made all these wonderful words? Or do they derive from Latin names, if so, who thought of those
Quiet day today, visited in-laws yesterday and mother in law has dementia, only in the early stages, but it’s really beginning to show.
Have a good Sunday

Well, that's a wrap. I did not get my shower cleaned as I had hoped, but I did get a nice workout and managed to avoid any ice cream- tempting though it was. Oh yeah and there was something else about today but I forgot.
Anyhow goodnight all seeya on a sober Sunday

Well I didn’t go near the Irish celebrations today, but I did indulge in cake... it’s nearly 3pm on Sunday afternoon here and I’m having a lazy cake day. I should know better than to make a cake because inevitably I end up eating a lot of it lol
morning all. Happy Sunday!
hang on to your sobriety like this panda hangs on to its ball:
I had a weirdly vivid drinking & smoking (tobacco) dream last night, but they don't phase me any more. plus the one about having no trousers on in public, obviously.
but it looks like being a lovely Spring day here, so all is well.

I had to look up onomatopoeiac myself, it was great to be able to use it.
I'm pretty sure that since I quit going to sleep drunk I no longer snore - no sore throats. Losing some weight likely helped in that regard too.
Glorious morning here, first one in ages.

I wear ear plugs to bed at night. Most nights they provide great defence. Mrs. Dragon did not believe me that she snores, I had to record her one night for proof. I snore too, Mrs D. told me once she knew when how much I drank that evening by level of noise I made at night. I haven't had any complaints (that i recall) since I stopped drinking. I'm sure I still snore, but it must be a 'normal' level now (if there is such a thing).
Happy St. Patty's Day to all. I'm going to embrace sobriety today and see it for what it is in my life, a cherished gift. I've been given another chance, one that I don't deserve but I know God is merciful to this poor soul. So many positive attitudes on this site makes me want to keep coming back for more.
