do tours count as sober time?

if so then i've done great in stopping but no so great in being 0 tolerance. Oh for you that may not know what i meant by tours, its deployments over seas. I was in 11 years and was medically retired at the age of 30 due to having multiple sclerosis... did that make me stop? nope i have a lot of funny stories from before it became a problem and then i've managed to jack some stuff up before going to treatment

I live in va just to be close to my son

Thank you for your service, and welcome to SR. "Sober time" is whatever you define it as. You're doing this for you, so do it your way.

Welcome brett! It's great to have you with us. Heartfelt thanks to you for serving. This is a good place to be - for encouragement & support.

Virginia's a lovely state - hope you're happy there. :)

heyvn,

Yea the army was not the place for alcohol and support, not like they didnt care but there is a reason some of joined, stubborn pigheaded and partially ******** haha

Don't take it wrong way, not saying you did, i didn't say it to boast or anything but it paints a clearer picture knowing where i learned it
