Morning 😃

Just checking in to say I'm still sober, I've been so busy with work, decorating, kids etc, but all is well.
Finished doing the whole of downstairs now, so you know what that means, I now have to do upstairs lol.
So I'm still around, still positive and definitely in for another week of staying sober.
Much love to everyone
🙏💖 Doris xx

Doris,

Way to go on staying busy. There are always things to do. I work out, watch movies, play games, clean, play guitar, nap, learn a language.

So many things to do.

Drinking messes all that up.

I routinely remind myself I am no longer a drinker. Staying sober got a bit taxing for me. It was like I was always battling.

Being a born again non drinker is liberating. I get to proudly say I quit drinking because I wanted to get in shape and booze was in the way.

Even 1 or 2 drinks saps the immune system. That is a good enough reason for me to never consume booze ever again.

Being a drunk is such a bad look anyway.

Education saved my wretched soul.

Thanks.
