60 days sober very grateful

Today marks 2 months sober. I am truly a very different person than I was before. I am healthier more positive and feel and look great. Every now and then I will get a craving but remind myself it was way to hard to quit to start again. I had a month off work between jobs and am so thankful I went through it sober because I remember all of it and lived each day to the fullest with no regrets or hangovers. To anyone thinking about quitting or just recently sober life is so much more fullfilling and peaceful sober. I would rather go through life feeling like I acomplished something rather than a prisoner to some stupid drink.

That's great!! And, I had the chance to take about 4-5 wks off work at first, too and it was such a benefit to everything about getting sober. Keep going!

Unshackled, indeed! I love the freedom sobriety gives me. I hadn't realized how much of a prisoner to alcohol I really was until I broke free.

Congratulations on 2 months!
