Congratulations on day one.
I know that I went through the sickness for years. I just couldn't get it through my thick head until it was almost too late.
You've made a great decision, and remember, you never have to be sick from alcohol or drink again.

Best of luck! You can do it!! Keep strong!!!
Have you got a support tool box so to speak?
I found that writing down all my reasons, then to do lists of fun things to do during the week, then distraction to do lists and check them off helps (the small wins ) Having lovely support forums and apps, meditation apps for bed time, sipping a diet soft drink/juice when I’d normally drink helps. Eating good food, doctors help and a psychologist for the long term plan.
Something simple as waking up on day 4 (for me) feeling great and not having spent the night tossing from liver pain and withdrawals/dehydration is making it all worthwhile.
Best of luck!!!
