70 Days A/F and 30 DAYS S/F Today - Update

Hi Everyone, full moon out tonight, its saying well done for reaching 70 days A/F and 30 S/F lol. Next mission... 90 Days........ bring it on Baby Still have PAWS symptoms but lessening as time progresses, its the brain healing, feel a bit strange in mornings in head and have these repeating thoughts going around and around in my head like I'm going mad/crazy, they go away in a short while with distraction etc................. have put on a few pounds weight (eating more as quit cigs)and complex tasks in work taking twice as long, short term memory not great either. Hoping these issues will heal soon with time as brain recovers any past experiences, especially brain recovery stuff would be good to hear from you. have a nice Day

I swear I need a "sober living" dictionary. A/F....alcohol free..S/F...smoke free?

Okay, I figured it out but I'm ashamed that it took me like 6 minutes. Haha, anyway....CONGRATS!!! Was never a smoker but I've heard that's TOUGH!

Thanks everyone , yes WDP it takes a while to get up to speed with terms lol, the gigs are tough too and from what I read.... also affect brain as an addiction etc... , so trying to have a clean swoop to help brain recover, I feel disadvantaged in recovery, its not easy, its like I am being penalized for getting clean, I have developed a screwed up brain and all the crap that goes with PAWS , give up cigs get intense nicotine cravings and put on weight it seems like a no win situation but that's where knowledge is power and where it helps avoid relapse etc. have to soldier on and look on the bright side as this recovery crap is the body healing and only temporary. Sorry for rambling its a brain thing lol Night night ZZZZZZZZZZZ

Its my experiences my brain got better and better carlingford. I remembered the chords ok but I couldn't do a gig without lyrics in front of me.

I don't need a music stand now

It just took time for me.

Congrats!!! I hope to be smoke free soon too but figured alcohol free first would be the best choice.

Thanks for showing that it can be done.
