If you want to know that I'm not a newcomer here, all you need to do is check my join date. I've been off and on drinking since I joined, but I think I've finally decided to give it up for good. My typical pattern is to take a couple months completely off, then go off on a wild bender and well, my last one scared the heck out of me and my girlfriend. Alcohol withdrawal seizures are pretty good indications you should quit, and while I should be a good enough reason to quit permanently myself, having a cute little blonde thing to take care of is added motivation, and I can't do that from a hospital bed.

The good news is, I have a pretty good attitude about it and I'm generally a pretty funny guy, so hopefully I'm a welcome (re)addition to the forums and I can put a smile or two on everyone's faces.
