Introduction
Hello, I thought I needed to introduce myself. My name is Matt, I'm 24, my D.O.C. is alcohol, I'm from Georgia, and have been sober for 19 days now. It's good to be here and I hope to get to know all of you better!

Nice to meet you Matt! Welcome to SR! I quit drinking 47 days ago (so, pretty new too).
Have you thought about joining the February 2019 class? There is a class that starts every month for people quitting that month. It's a great group of people who are going through the first month.
Anyway, I've found SR really helpful. I'm on the site as much as I need (24 hour, Weekender, Jan & Feb 2019 threads). It helps me wind down, get advice, learn from others about tools for staying sober, and just vent.

You're very wise to stop drinking now. And congratulations on nineteen days.
I wish I would have been as smart as you and quit drinking at your age. It would have saved me twenty years of misery and trouble.
